Daniel Ennis is a seasoned Sr. Software Architect with 15 years building scalable web and backend systems, currently leading architecture at iContact while running Starlis LLC and its popular Empire Minecraft platform. He blends enterprise experience in LAMP/Node.js stacks, modern front-end migrations (ES7/React/Webpack), and event-driven Node frameworks with deep JVM performance tuning and open-source contributions to game-server tooling. A hands-on mentor and tooling advocate, he has driven large refactors, built a production "Cosmos" framework for event services, and continues to shepherd volunteer developer communities. Based in Raleigh, he uniquely pairs product-focused engineering for marketing platforms with hobbyist-driven innovations that have influenced base-game Minecraft code.
