Top SchoolDaniel Gerep is a pragmatic software developer with 11 years of experience building high-throughput, highly available APIs for the Brazilian payments industry, primarily using Go. He has a strong operational mindset—automating critical payment pipelines and maintaining mission-critical services that integrate with major processors—while also contributing to team learning through internal Golang training. Comfortable across backend, DevOps and cloud (GCP/AWS), Daniel has reduced costs and improved performance by rewriting services and shipping reliable small tools that run for months without intervention. Currently based in Minas Gerais, Brazil, he’s pivoting his curiosity toward game development, bringing the same systems-thinking and "why"-driven approach to a new creative domain.
