Summary
👤
SeniorDaniel Lacoste is a user operations and support-focused technologist with 11 years of experience building developer and customer-facing support systems at companies from Plaid to OpenAI. He combines deep technical troubleshooting (Tier-3 enterprise support, API integrations, React Native fixes) with product-minded UX improvements, documentation, and release orchestration for mobile platforms serving tens of thousands of weekly users. As a co-founder and community owner, he has hands-on experience scaling support teams, authoring knowledge bases, and running active user communities and moderation for hundreds to thousands of members. At Plaid he helped grow developer support globally and acted as the primary liaison to engineering for new products, and at TruckSmarter he owned the mobile build process and design system contributions. Based in San Francisco, he blends customer empathy, polished UX instincts, and operational rigor to turn user feedback into tangible product and process improvements. An understated strength is his repeated track record of growing teams and systems—from bootstrapped communities to formal support organizations—while still shipping code and documentation.
