Senior🎓
Top SchoolDaniel Morrison is a Senior Software Engineer based in London with nine years of experience building scalable full-stack systems, currently focused on video streaming services at Cisco. He blends frontend precision—pixel-perfect Angular/TypeScript UIs and Jasmine/Karma testing—with backend Node.js, NoSQL, pub/sub and WebSocket architectures to deliver live event experiences for tens of thousands of concurrent users. His work spans SDLC automation, containerization and Kubernetes, having helped standardize internal developer workflows through platforms that simplify app creation and deployment. A Computer Science graduate with a year at Cisco’s Silicon Valley office, he approaches large problems by decomposing them into efficient, testable, and readable solutions while keeping user experience front and center. Notably, he pairs product-focused frontend polish with deep operational thinking for cloud-native, high-scale event systems.
