Top SchoolDaniel Pettifer is a product-focused front-end engineer and design-savvy technology leader with over 15 years delivering UI/UX, frontend development and digital product management across media, non-profits and startups in the UK, Europe and Asia. Currently driving GenAI and LLM product work at The Telegraph, he pairs hands-on React development with strategic product leadership—previously leading analytics-driven dashboards and data teams to help newsrooms act on real-time insights. He has a track record of shipping component libraries, reducing user drop-off through design-led features, and building cross-cultural teams that move quickly from wireframe to production. Trained in Generative AI for Digital Transformation at MIT Professional Education, he combines modern AI tooling with practical experience in predictive analytics and large-format newsroom visualisations. Notably comfortable switching between craft-level front-end implementation and senior technology management, he thrives on solving ambiguous problems and getting things done.
