Top SchoolDaniel Toman is a San Francisco–based assistant editor, video editor, and post-production workflow consultant with a decade of experience on high-profile documentary and series projects for Netflix, Disney+, PBS Frontline, Nat Geo, and Hulu. He specializes in hybrid and remote editorial systems—Premiere, Avid, Postlab, LucidLink, and mirrored-drive workflows—running an M1 Ultra Mac Studio with gigabit fiber to support secure, fast collaboration. As lead AE and post supervisor on award-driven productions (including work for the Goldman Environmental Prize and an Oscar‑connected Netflix series), he blends hands-on finishing skills with systems design to keep distributed teams synchronized. He also brings creative production chops from cinematography and directing to editing roles, and an early career background in product design and operations that informs pragmatic solutions for complex post pipelines.
