Top SchoolDaniel Tudares is a Senior Advisory Systems Engineer with nine years of hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise, data center, optical transport, and cloud networks. Based in Ottawa, he progressed through network roles at Shopify into advanced services and advisory positions at Arista Networks, blending field engineering with design and NetDevOps practices. His background includes large-scale SDH/DWDM optical network overhauls and building OPNFV Pharos labs for SDN/NFV testing—efforts that were demoed at industry summits and webinars. Comfortable across L2/L3, DC switching, and cloud networking, he pairs practical operations experience with a Master’s in Computer Communications and industry certifications like ArubaOS-CX and CCNA. Known for a hacker’s affinity (there’s no place like 127.0.0.1), he brings a practical, tooling-first approach to automating complex network environments. Colleagues rely on him to translate architectural goals into reliable, observable network platforms.
