Senior🎓
Top SchoolDaniel Turton is a versatile support engineer and maker with 11 years of technical experience, currently helping Sonar customers debug CI pipelines, IDE integrations, and cloud/network configurations. He combines hands-on Python and Bash scripting with practical cloud and DevOps know-how from roles at Cloudreach and ClearDATA, and has built tooling—like a Django-powered contract tracker for his 3D printing business—that automates workflows end-to-end. A mentor and strong communicator, he translates complex systems into tangible metaphors drawn from vehicle repair and fabrication, making technical concepts accessible to teammates and customers. Outside of support, he designs in OpenSCAD/FreeCAD, prototypes with Arduino/C++, and has shipped improvements that speed Terraform/Python build processes—demonstrating a rare blend of developer, operator, and creator.
