Daniel Volkov is a mechanical engineer and technical analyst with nine years of hands-on experience designing and delivering industrial machinery and systems, currently based in Dubai with Canadian roots. He brings deep SolidWorks and AutoCAD expertise complemented by practical C and office-suite skills, honed across roles from junior designer to mechanical designer and engineering coordinator at Promation Nuclear. Daniel combines technical design work—detailed drawings, engineering calculations, and vendor liaison—with project coordination responsibilities such as change management, procurement specs, and ERP data control. Outside strict engineering he has run renovations and acted as a general contractor, which gives him pragmatic construction, HVAC, electrical, and site-inspection know-how. His leadership experience includes managing 20+ staff and fundraising and operations work as an assistant camp director, demonstrating strong people management and risk-assessment capabilities. Comfortable translating complex technical requirements into buildable solutions, he’s equally at home debugging systems on the shop floor or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
