Top SchoolDaniel Waksman is a Node.js-focused engineering leader with 11 years of hands-on experience designing scalable backends and automations for high-impact clients in gaming, media, retail, and airlines. He blends deep technical craft—building game servers, microservices, and custom AI integrations using VertexAI and GPT-4—with a leadership style rooted in radical transparency and psychological safety. A former commercial airline pilot, he applies cockpit-honed risk management and calm decision-making to mission-critical systems and team dynamics. Known for preferring long-term, elegant automation (he’ll spend a day to save a recurring half-hour), he excels at turning complex workflows into reliable, maintainable platforms. Based in Uruguay, he pairs academic teaching and startup experience with enterprise delivery, and is actively seeking roles where technology strategy, AI-driven automation, and team culture intersect.
