Senior🎓
Top SchoolDaniel Wei is a software engineer intern based in Montreal with a decade of hands-on experience building full-stack systems, robotics controls, and competition platforms. Currently engaged with Coveo (incoming Summer 2026) and active across roles at FactSage Software and CRC Robotics, he bridges academic engineering rigor from McGill with practical product delivery for life-cycle analysis and competition management software. A two-time hackathon winner and former robotics team captain, he combines algorithmic trading interests and embedded C++ control with automated CAD workflows to ship reliable, real-world systems. He also leads technical workshops as Vice President at Google Developer Groups - McGill, translating complex concepts into teachable tooling and newsletters unveiled at major campus events. Not obvious from titles: Daniel pairs competitive robotics strategy with software product work, giving him a unique perspective on translating low-level control constraints into scalable web and simulation features.
