Senior🎓
Top SchoolDaniel Worku is a pragmatic engineering leader and co-founder with 11+ years of experience building and scaling product and platform systems from startups to hyperscale companies. He blends hands-on expertise across languages (C++, Python, Swift, JavaScript) and platforms (iOS, Android, GCP) with strategic leadership—having shipped consumer products at Hidrate Spark, led AR and video efforts at Facebook, and scaled Netflix’s developer “paved road” and performance tracing for hundreds of millions of users. At Humu he co-led platform efforts for Fortune 100 customers, driving reliability, observability, and a culture of quality through initiatives like company-wide bug sprints and the first internal hackathon. A natural integrator, he translates ambiguous, high-level concepts into executable plans across bare metal, mobile clients, and cloud infrastructure, and he’s actively invested in DEI as a /dev/color facilitator. Now leading StarSling (YC X25), he combines startup grit with enterprise-scale engineering judgment.
