Top SchoolDaragh Lowe is a Senior Software Engineer based in Limerick, Ireland with nine years of hands-on experience building and operating cloud-native systems. Currently on WP Engine’s Cloud Native Engineering team, he brings deep Linux and infrastructure expertise forged through progressive roles from data center operations to production engineering and team leadership. He contributes to notable open-source work such as the kpack Kubernetes native build service, where he focused on build and image spec changes that shape pod build behavior and timeouts. Comfortable across backend, DevOps and SRE responsibilities, Daragh combines operational rigor with code-focused contributions to improve build reliability at scale. His background in applied computing and networking (B.Sc.) plus early certifications like CCNA underpin a practical, network-aware approach to platform engineering. A pragmatic problem solver, he often surfaces system-level improvements that prevent recurring incidents rather than just firefighting them.
