Top SchoolDarren Rainey is a partner and property law specialist based in Belfast, co-founding Allsopp Campbell Rainey in 2024 after two decades of practice focused on residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, business sales and estate administration. He qualified as a solicitor in 2002 after completing an apprenticeship and an LLB at Queen’s University Belfast, and holds a Certificate in Commercial Conveyancing from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. A long-standing panelist and tutor, Darren serves on the Law Society NI Conveyancing and Property Committee and mentors trainee solicitors, bringing practical courtroom and transactional experience into training. Having helped establish and lead private practices since 2004, he combines commercial pragmatism with detailed land law expertise—often navigating complex boundary, covenant and rights-of-way disputes. Despite a brief GitHub bio of “Just another programmer,” his career demonstrates a consistent appetite for building and guiding small firms as well as developing junior legal talent.
