Top SchoolDave Quick is a seasoned technology leader and founder with 11+ years of experience building and scaling large distributed systems and data platforms for companies including Microsoft, Oracle, Ancestry, and EMC. He combines hands-on engineering—spanning computer vision, ML/DL, storage, and high-throughput backend services—with proven people leadership, growing self-sufficient teams and leaders from within. His track record includes shipping infrastructure that served billions of requests daily, managing petabytes of logs, and running services at the scale of a billion-user personal information store. As founder of Ritrian LLC he applies advanced CV/ML techniques (YOLO, RetinaFace, DeepSORT, HNSW) to turn petabytes of raw data into structured insights, while at Oracle he automated the largest Fusion Analytics Warehouse deployment to accelerate adoption and recover significant spend. Comfortable as individual contributor or director, he prefers data-driven organizations that give authority and budget to build high-performing teams. Based in Atlanta and open to remote or local opportunities, he blends startup grit with enterprise rigor and a knack for turning complex operational challenges into repeatable platforms.
