Top SchoolDavi Custódio is an experienced Geo-Technology Specialist with over 30 years designing and building robust information systems, currently leading geospatial database and WebGIS projects at Embrapa in São Paulo. He combines deep hands-on expertise across Java, .NET, C++, NodeJS/TypeScript, React and Python with modern architectural practices like microservices, DDD and event-driven patterns to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. Davi has extensive experience with spatial databases and OGC geoservices (PostGIS, GeoServer, WMS/WFS/WCS) and has applied the OGC API to make spatial data widely accessible. Recently he has bridged geospatial engineering and generative AI—experimenting with LLMs, embeddings, RAG and fine-tuning to enhance geographic data retrieval and analysis. A former university professor and longtime contributor to research projects, he blends academic rigour with practical delivery and a knack for translating complex spatial problems into production-ready systems.
