Top SchoolDavid Bezuidenhout is a systems-focused engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience in Linux, DevOps and AWS support, now serving as a Systems Dev Engineer II at AWS from Western Cape, South Africa. He progressed through multiple AWS support roles specializing in deployment and DevOps services—CloudFormation, ECS, OpsWorks (SME), and the Code suite—helping customers design and troubleshoot production systems at scale. Prior to AWS he spent nearly a decade as a Linux engineer in web and mail hosting, giving him deep operational expertise across infrastructure, networking and automation. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic problem-solving that balances customer urgency with robust, repeatable solutions. That blend of long-term ops experience and platform-level support work means he often sees systemic fixes where others implement one-off patches.
