Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Boot is a seasoned Senior Product Engineer with 11 years of experience crafting simple, beautiful web products and leading cross-disciplinary teams from the Netherlands. He blends hands-on full‑stack engineering (notably modernizing Ruby on Rails stacks, GraphQL and Tailwind-based component libraries) with product-focused leadership—coaching teams, improving onboarding, and introducing Shape Up and Kanban practices. His work spans fintech, media and consumer SaaS, where he’s driven improvements in UX, subscription conversion, and maintainability through technical cleanups, containerization and stricter engineering hygiene. Colleagues value his emphasis on human collaboration, continuous learning and pragmatic delivery over chasing perfection. A lifelong builder—“building since Lego”—he also has an MS in Organizational Design & Development, which informs his strength in scaling team processes alongside code.
