Summary
👤
SeniorDavid Buchbut is a Full Stack Engineer with 11 years of experience and a deep passion for frontend development, currently building at Wix after a decade leading frontend efforts at Outbrain. He has a strong track record modernizing large-scale dashboards and consumer web apps using Angular, TypeScript and a broad set of web technologies dating back to early AJAX and Mootools work. David has worked across startups and enterprise products—from real-time financial systems used by global banks to next-generation online learning platforms—bringing a pragmatic blend of UX-focused engineering and backend integration. He led the redesign of Outbrain’s Selfserve dashboard, demonstrating an ability to ship at scale while handling big-data-driven interfaces. Based in Israel and grounded in a BA in Business Management Information Systems and Finance, he pairs product-minded thinking with hands-on implementation. An early contributor to collaborative web tooling (Google Wave gadget and ShiftSpace) hints at a long-standing interest in real-time, multi-user experiences.
