Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Ferrand is a Senior Android Engineer with over a decade of experience shipping more than ten apps and leading mobile teams across startups and scale-ups. He blends deep Android expertise with cross-platform fluency—having self-taught iOS, Web (JS, Vue.js, Tailwind) and Backend (Go, GraphQL)—and often drives architectural decisions spanning push, social linking, and web↔native communication. Known for raising quality and reliability (instrumentation testing, CI improvements, crash-free releases) he has owned SDKs used by millions and contributed Android learnings publicly, including a widely-read Medium piece featured in ProAndroidDev. Based in Bilbao, he pairs user-centric product thinking with clear communication and hands-on leadership, mentoring teams through pivots and platform expansions. Notably, he transitioned from pure Android work to owning end-to-end system design in small teams, proving adaptable across mobile, web, and backend domains.
