Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Jones is a Senior Software Engineer based in New York with over ten years of experience designing and shipping scalable, responsive web applications for enterprise clients and nonprofits. He specializes in modern front-end architectures—React, TypeScript, MobX/Redux—and pairs them with Python and Node-based back ends to deliver production-grade single-page and isomorphic apps. At DEPT® he has driven projects for IndigoAg, Omron, Adidas and Blackboard, including a machine-data cleaning tool for agronomy specialists and a component-driven campaign framework for global brands. Comfortable across the stack (his GitHub persona “Half Stack” hints at that breadth), he brings pragmatic UI engineering experience rooted in accessibility and maintainable component design. Known for translating complex content workflows into polished user experiences, he combines agency-scale delivery with a strong grounding in nonprofit projects earlier in his career.
