Top SchoolDavid Merino is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in mobile and full-stack development with 6+ years of hands-on experience in React, React Native, TypeScript, Ionic/Capacitor, Expo and PHP/Laravel. Based in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, he has led projects from zero to production—most notably building WOAla.app as an IT Project Manager where he cut development costs by shifting to a PWA and boosted registrations by over 200%. He combines pragmatic architecture and product thinking with strong teamwork and self-taught learning habits, enabling faster feature delivery and scalable database designs. David has improved performance and deployment pipelines in previous roles, for example reducing CSS and documentation build times significantly. Comfortable in both coding and coordinating small cross-functional teams, he brings a developer-first approach to mobile-first user experiences. Colleagues know him for steady problem solving and a focus on practical, measurable improvements rather than tech for its own sake.
