Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Nelson is a senior full-stack engineer and pragmatic engineering leader with 13 years of professional experience, currently at Dexory after a multi-role tenure at Enzyme where he led engineering and drove a backend migration to CQRS/ES with Elixir. He combines deep Java and Ruby on Rails roots with modern Elixir LiveView front-end work, integrations (webhooks, Office for the web), and hands-on data migration and integrity auditing for regulated life-sciences software. David has repeatedly improved operational resilience and reduced infrastructure costs, led cross-functional teams, and delivered features for risk and access management in eQMS products. His background includes large-scale retail and telecom platforms, containerization and ML experimentation, plus a MSc in Computer Science, reflecting both production-grade delivery and research-informed thinking. Notably, he often serves as the first responder for critical incidents and the primary architect for complex migrations, blending leadership with continued hands-on coding.
