Top SchoolDavid Rogers is a pragmatic full-stack software engineer with over a decade of experience designing and shipping production systems across startups and enterprise teams. He has led complex migrations from monoliths to microservices, moved services to AKS and Linux/.NET Core, and driven security and observability improvements like Managed Identity and Datadog dashboards. At Faithlife he architected a production pipeline that scaled eBook output fifty-fold and later built a payments platform from domain learning to launch; at SkyKick he split a monolith into 20+ services without downtime while mentoring peers and owning technical strategy. Now based in Seattle and currently at Rocket Mortgage, he combines hands-on implementation with thoughtful design docs and infrastructure-as-code advocacy. Known for solving thorny distributed-system performance and operational issues, he balances rapid delivery with systems-level reliability.
