Top SchoolDavid Skinner is a versatile technologist and retired computer system integrator with a 12-year core career augmented by decades of cross-disciplinary experience in photojournalism, engineering, accounting, and law. He built mission-critical systems from PLC automation for paper mills to early true-color video drivers and multi-line telecom software, and has hands-on expertise in Go, C++, UniComal, HTML5 and modern SCSS patterns. A pragmatic problem-solver, he has led software development and litigation-support database projects and once helped the busiest corporate-formation practice in Louisiana. Now retired but still active, he tutors students in anatomy, statistics, and web development and applies branding, psycholinguistics and UX principles to teaching. He also contributes pro bono as a nonprofit president, blending technical depth with community service and a knack for turning complex requirements into practical, auditable solutions.
