Top SchoolDavid Snowdon is a serial founder and engineering leader with 13+ years delivering ultra-low-latency network hardware and software for financial markets, having built and scaled Metamako from concept to acquisition by Arista Networks. He combines systems-level expertise—FPGA, embedded OS, circuit board design and algorithmic latency optimisation—with hands-on product delivery and supply-chain experience that produced industry-leading layer‑1 switches used by exchanges and top trading firms. Equally comfortable mentoring teams or owning execution, he has steered technical strategy as a board member and director while continuing to advise cutting-edge ventures in clock synchronisation and space engineering. A PhD-trained systems thinker who once helped a solar race team set a Guinness World Record, he brings rare depth across firmware, hardware and high-performance networking.
