Top SchoolDavid Tabachnikov is an AI-focused technology founder and CEO with 13 years of experience building product-led marketplaces and engineering teams, currently leading ScholarshipOwl to modernize scholarship access and make private scholarships a viable alternative to student loans. He began as a hands-on engineer and has progressed through CTO and Co-CEO roles, scaling distributed development, devops, and product operations while maintaining a technical, data-driven approach to growth. His work blends applied AI for student matching and marketing intelligence to help brands engage Gen Z, alongside practical infrastructure and recruitment know-how developed from leading remote teams across Eastern Europe. A repeat founder and advisor with IoT and startup experience (Coffeetap) and a background at Google and Metacafe, he pairs entrepreneurial grit with deep systems and product expertise. Less obvious: he routinely bridges technical execution and commercial strategy, turning complex engineering investments into measurable student outcomes and lead-generation results.
