Top SchoolDavid Urbansky is a Principal Architect and serial founder with 16 years of experience building semantic search, knowledge-engineering and AI-driven products across startups and research. He co-founded SEMKNOX, spoonacular and gamebrain.co, and now drives architecture at Zoovu while still leading SEMKNOX’s efforts on product search. His work bridges academic rigor (PhD-level research at TU Dresden) and product delivery, with notable projects including a natural-language food search engine and Site Search 360. David combines deep expertise in ontologies and semantic technologies with practical machine learning applications for information services, and even applies his interest in food and games to real-world APIs and discovery tools. An uncommon detail: his background spans computer science and film/television studies, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to designing user-facing search experiences.
