Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavy Neven is a founder and computer vision researcher with 11 years of experience building real-time perception systems and commercial SaaS for vision workflows. He holds a PhD from KU Leuven where he worked on semantic and instance segmentation and multi-task learning for autonomous driving under Prof. Luc Van Gool, and translated that research into products like Segments.ai, trainYOLO and consulting firm ml4vision. His work focuses on 2D vision algorithms, model-in-the-loop labeling, and practical deployment of object detection pipelines that speed annotation and inference. Comfortable moving between research and product, he repeatedly turns cutting-edge segmentation and detection techniques into developer-friendly platforms that cut labeling effort and accelerate model iteration. Based in Leuven, he blends deep academic roots with hands-on startup execution and a track record of shipping tools that make vision teams more productive.
