Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolDebbie O'brien is a developer-relations and web engineering leader with nine years of experience spanning frontend architecture, team leadership, and developer advocacy at companies including Microsoft and Bit. She drove Playwright adoption as a Principal Technical Program Manager—creating demos, docs, workshops, and ambassador programs—and contributed test automation directly to high-profile repos like microsoft/playwright and the .NET Podcasts reference app. Equally comfortable shipping UI improvements (Nuxt, Bit) and building robust test suites, she blends hands-on frontend work with program-level influence to shape developer workflows. Now focused on Applied AI, Agents and MCPs at Block, she leverages years of open-source collaboration and community building to help devs integrate AI into everyday tooling. Based in Palma, Spain, Debbie pairs a designer’s eye with engineering rigor—she once led creation of an in-house frontend framework—and thrives on working closely with engineers to turn product feedback into better developer experiences.
