Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolDenis Savitskiy is a Senior Software Engineer with 14 years of experience building and scaling Ruby on Rails systems, and pragmatic expertise in Go, Kafka, ClickHouse and PostgreSQL. He has led cross-functional teams and coordinated large programs—including a $20bn-scale project and a 10-person product-engineering-support team—to deliver loan and payment platforms across multiple countries. Denis excels at performance optimization and observability, having cut page loads from 10s to 1s, reduced ClickHouse query latency and memory use, and automated financial and antifraud reporting for millions of daily transactions. He blends hands-on refactoring (20k lines removed at Cryptopay) with product-minded delivery, improving registration success and release velocity. Based in Colombia, he pairs engineering rigor with operational savvy—often inventing practical integrations (e.g., captive portal monetization) that turned into measurable revenue and reliability wins.
