Summary
👤
SeniorDeniss Jacenko is a versatile software engineer and engineering leader with 11 years of experience building full-stack web and mobile products, currently contributing to Weco AI’s state-of-the-art AIDE platform that automates ML engineering. He’s shipped consumer-facing React Native apps, launched 2get.co (F8 scholarship recipient), and led frontend and cross-functional teams at Meridian to scale AI-driven products for private equity workflows. A pragmatic founder and operator, he has launched multiple businesses and e-commerce brands, built automation tooling and browser scrapers to streamline marketing and recruiting, and engineered production systems on Google Cloud and Heroku. Deniss combines hands-on implementation—native Swift/Java integration, D3 visualization tweaks, and kernel-level optimization use cases—with people leadership, process design, and vendor relationships. Notably, his current work focuses on AI-for-AI tooling that has achieved top results on benchmarks like MLE-Bench and Kaggle agent medals, reflecting a rare blend of applied ML systems thinking and product delivery. Based in Miami, he mentors engineers, turns fast prototypes into launched products, and has been shipping web themes and design systems since 2004.
