Top SchoolDennis Ouyang is a junior web developer transitioning from a nine-year career in investment services into backend engineering, currently completing a Meta-sponsored certification in Python, Django, SQL, and API development. He graduated from The Firehose Project bootcamp with hands-on experience building Rails applications, working on an agile team to deliver an online game that used complex data structures, CI/CD, and thorough testing. At Merrill Lynch he specialized in client-facing technical support and operations, frequently bridging customers and developers by driving defect reports and follow-through—skills that translate to strong product empathy and pragmatic debugging. Licensed as an investment professional and a CFA Level I passer, he combines analytical rigor, attention to detail, and top-tier exam performance with clear communication and a record of customer referrals. Based in West Windsor, NJ, Dennis is seeking his next project where he can apply backend skills and his deep domain knowledge of financial systems to build reliable, user-focused applications.
