Top SchoolDerek Silva is a community-first founder and operations leader with eight years of experience building and aligning developer, marketing, and user communities across Web3 and crypto ecosystems. Currently COO at Reef and Founder of Casa Panenka, he blends hands-on operations and community strategy to shepherd projects from roadmap to governance, while retaining signing authority and executive oversight. Derek has a track record of growing engaged channels (Telegram, Reddit, Twitter, LinkedIn) for clients like Orchid and Bloom Protocol through content, webinars, and creator-driven campaigns, and he hosts a podcast to deepen community dialogue. His background in Linux systems administration and running web hosting businesses gives him uncommon operational depth for a community executive, enabling technical problem-solving and product-focused community programs. Based in Ontario, Canada, he combines civic experience as a former municipal councillor with DAO-building ambition, signaling a rare mix of grassroots governance and crypto-native coordination.
