Top SchoolDerek Wayne is a founder and data engineer with eight years of experience turning messy business data into operational clarity. After roles spanning data science and software engineering at Acquire and Newton.co, he launched Rapid Insights Consulting to help organizations whose growth outpaced their systems—particularly where reporting that once was minutes now takes hours. Based in Toronto with a BASc in Statistics from the University of Toronto, he blends rigorous statistical thinking with hands-on engineering to build pipelines and dashboards that scale. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic: he focuses on measurable impact rather than flashy tech, and he often surfaces process issues as the root cause of data failures rather than blaming tools.
