Top SchoolDiane Feingold is the founder and longtime creator of WRT Water Release Therapy®, an aquatic therapeutic modality blending Watsu®, WaterDance, yoga, breathwork and somatic approaches to release trauma and restore wellbeing. Based in Santa Barbara, she has taught, traveled and led provider trainings and multi-day intensives worldwide since the late 1980s, combining hands-on aquatic work with Human Energy Design life coaching. With an academic background in art history, French and computer graphics from UCSB, Grenoble and UCLA, Diane brings a rare interdisciplinary perspective that informs her embodied, creative approach to healing. Her work is noted for guiding clients into profound states of relaxation and transformation, sometimes including controlled submersion techniques to address deep cellular holding. Quietly entrepreneurial, she has sustained a niche global practice and training program for over three decades while integrating contemplative, clinical and energetic frameworks.
