Top SchoolDiego Acosta is a senior software engineer and architect with 13 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-native, scalable services across AWS, .NET Core, Node.js and modern front-end stacks. He has led cross-functional teams and global service initiatives at companies like Sage, Vonage and Happening, combining technical leadership with active coding and architecture design. Diego excels at modernizing legacy systems—often doing the "archeology" needed to decommission undocumented components—and translating complex trade-offs into pragmatic, maintainable solutions. Based in Barcelona, he is comfortable both guiding stakeholder discussions and diving into implementation details across APIs, integrations and platform migrations. Known for a curious, detail-oriented approach, he thrives on architectural debates and continuous learning. Beyond formal roles, his background shows a consistent focus on building robust long-lived services and mentoring teams through change.
