Top SchoolDimitar Petkov is a seasoned technology leader with 14 years of hands-on software engineering and people-management experience, currently serving as Head of Technology for the dYdX Operations subDAO. He combines deep systems and C++ roots with proven delivery leadership across Web3, DeFi, and blockchain infrastructure—leading dYdX Chain launches, validator coordination, and provider procurement for mission-critical node and relayer services. Known as a "team wrangler," he excels at turning complex protocol and operational requirements into clear roadmaps, cross-functional alignment, and reliable production systems. Dimitar has repeatedly scaled and mentored engineering teams from low-level embedded and high-throughput daemons to modern Web3 stacks, and brings an uncommon blend of security-focused academic training and pragmatic program leadership.
