Top SchoolDimitrios Karavias is a seasoned QA and product-focused engineer with 9 years' experience building test automation, release practices, and onboarding products that accelerate user Time to Value. He founded Restep.io to rethink product walkthroughs and has driven measurable QA transformations at Toptal—cutting regression cycles from a week to under a day and unblocking a US legaltech client after a year-long release freeze. His hands-on background spans mobile native automation (Espresso, XCUITest), web test frameworks, regulatory test plans for medical devices, and mentoring rising QAs at MentorCruise. Comfortable shifting between founder, architect, and individual-contributor roles, he pairs systems thinking with pragmatic shipping discipline. Based in London and trained in AI and software engineering at Edinburgh, he brings a rule-of-thumb mindset—“that’s not a feature, it’s a bug”—to help teams prioritize reliability and user outcomes.
