Software Engineer & Owner at Elementon
Overijssel, Netherlands
Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolDinand Mentink is a pragmatic software engineer and founder with nine years of full-stack experience marrying web development, ops and finance-driven product thinking. He founded Elementon to build thoughtful, privacy-respecting applications and previously shaped fintech/social-impact products at Lendahand and Kerkdienstgemist, owning everything from UX to AWS hosting. Comfortable across Ruby, PHP, frontend stacks and Docker-based operations, he brings a rare blend of technical breadth and contractual/organizational literacy. After a deliberate sabbatical of "actively doing nothing" he explored creative projects—writing a fantasy novel, prototyping a board game and installing a heat pump—demonstrating a maker’s curiosity beyond code. Based in Overijssel, he’s as likely to be dungeon-mastering a Friday night campaign as optimizing a deployment pipeline.
