Top SchoolDionisio Alonso is a seasoned Python backend engineer and Assistant Professor from Córdoba, Argentina, with 17 years of experience spanning software development, system and network administration, and HPC research. He has led engineering teams and delivered large integrations and migrations for e-commerce platforms, notably orchestrating multi-year ERP/CRM integrations and modernizing Python/Django stacks. Comfortable in both academia and industry, he teaches algorithms while maintaining hands-on expertise in observability, testing, containerization, and CI/CD. A longtime FLOSS enthusiast, he blends practical operational skills (NFS/NIS, mail and server ops) with modern backend practices like FastAPI, pytest, and Kubernetes.
