Top SchoolDipendra Pokharel is a Mobile Lead with a decade of experience building and modernizing Android apps across fintech, startup, and enterprise environments. He has repeatedly re-architected Android products for scalability and testability—introducing MVVM, Kotlin, Android Architecture Components, and CI-driven unit and UI testing—to accelerate delivery and onboard teams to modern practices. His background spans banks and crypto startups (TD, Xapo, Sensibill), where he built SDKs, modular apps, and automation that reduced QA overhead and simplified integrations. Based in Old Toronto, he pairs deep platform knowledge (networking, media, P2P, and device quirks) with hands-on mentoring, having grown engineering teams and driven hiring. Pragmatic and detail-oriented, he still surfaces low-level solutions—like handling non-Unicode fonts and audio/camera edge cases—that keep products robust in the real world.
