Top SchoolDiptam Ghosh is a senior software engineer with 9 years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, currently at Rippling after a multi-year tenure at Flipkart. He holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad and a bachelor's in Computer Engineering, combining strong academic grounding with hands-on expertise in Java, Python, algorithms, and systems engineering. At Flipkart he led central HBase platform efforts—authoring an HBase operator for Kubernetes, an HBase compactor, and migrating numerous services from VMs to k8s—delivering measurable reductions in maintenance overhead and resource usage. He’s passionate about AI/ML and competitive coding, and brings that algorithmic rigor to performance-sensitive infrastructure and replication challenges. Known for pragmatic tooling and automation (dev-frameworks, Ansible utilities, CI/CD standardization), Diptam reliably turns complex operational needs into maintainable, production-ready solutions. Based in Bengaluru, he balances deep backend systems work with a strong interest in applying ML techniques to distributed problems.
