Senior🎓
Top SchoolDirk Louwers is an engineering manager with 16 years of experience building and leading high-performing platform and product teams across logistics, healthcare, and e‑health startups. He blends deep expertise in concurrent and reactive systems with practical operational rigor—advocating strong coding standards, predictable maintenance costs, CI/CD, and test coverage to keep multi‑core servers doing meaningful work. Dirk has hands-on experience designing scalable, non‑blocking platforms (handling thousands of requests per second) and has repeatedly filled roles from architect to product owner to bootstrap teams and processes. He excels at aligning business goals with flow and technical oversight, and at creating talent strategies and engineering cultures that balance internal growth with external hires. Based in Maartensdijk, he favors pragmatic solutions that minimize risk and effort while meeting compliance needs (NEN7510/ISO27001) in cloud and Kubernetes environments. A former founder and CTO, he brings an operator’s instinct for cost‑effective, maintainable systems along with a keen interest in pushing concurrency boundaries.
