Top SchoolDirk Steinkopf is a senior software engineer, tech lead and product owner with 11+ years of experience, currently leading backend development and product responsibilities at mgm technology partners after eCube’s acquisition. He combines hands-on expertise in Python, Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, Docker, PostgreSQL/InfluxDB and observability (Grafana/Prometheus) with proven track records in team building, commercial project leadership and technical architecture. Dirk has founded and run development organisations from 0→10 engineers, set company-wide tooling and standards, and negotiated customer contracts and operations—bringing rare end-to-end ownership from setup to profitable delivery. Passionate about practical innovation, he pursues AI, self-hosting, Home Assistant automation and DIY photovoltaic systems in his spare time, reflecting a bias for systems-level thinking and operational robustness. Based in Greater Munich and grounded in a Diplom in Informatik from TUM, he bridges executive communication and deep technical detail to align engineering outcomes with business goals.
