Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolDmitri Smirnov is a Senior Software Architect with nine years of professional experience building high-load, scalable systems and a deep specialty in Identity & Access Management. He has led design and zero-downtime migrations of core IAM infrastructure at Zalando and now applies that expertise at eBay, combining hands-on Java and Go development with practical AWS and Kubernetes operations. Dmitri is particularly focused on modern authentication and authorization standards—OIDC, OAuth2, SAML—and is an enthusiastic proponent of FIDO2 and federation/delegation patterns. Comfortable across infrastructure and code, he has delivered multitenant OIDC providers and bespoke authentication schemes for handheld devices, and he brings a pragmatic curiosity rooted in past work across QA, Java monolith modernization, and Python experimentation.
