Top SchoolDmitry Emelyanov is a Senior Software Developer based in Saint Petersburg with eight years of experience building core components of autonomous driving systems. He specializes in C++, ROS, algorithms and data structures, and has deep practical knowledge of concurrency, network programming and point cloud processing. At StarLine he designed and implemented a point cloud localization service, an Unreal Engine–based HD map editor plugin, and parts of planning & prediction, then continued advancing autonomy at Yandex. His background in embedded systems and sensors (Master’s and Bachelor’s from ITMO) gives him a hardware-aware approach to software design that helps bridge perception, mapping and control. Dmitry is comfortable selecting precise data structures and algorithms to meet real-time constraints and has a track record of shipping modular, production-ready components across the stack. Notably, he combines research-grade academic training with hands-on system integration experience in both tooling and runtime components.
