Summary
👤
SeniorDmitry Polyakovsky is a seasoned software engineer and technical leader with over 15 years of experience building scalable systems and 8+ years working with major cloud platforms including OCI, AWS and Google Cloud. As Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Oracle he leads a 15-person team driving the OCI Caching Service (Redis) and contributed to OCI OpenSearch, operating services across dozens of data centers. He blends hands-on coding (Java, Python, Ruby) and infrastructure automation (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm) with product-focused customer engagement to align technical design to real business needs. Earlier roles range from founding engineering teams at startups to running high-throughput ad and PPC systems, demonstrating repeated success scaling services to tens of millions of daily requests. Based in Seattle, he pairs deep operational experience with an ability to translate executive and customer requirements into robust, secure cloud services. Notably, he emphasizes starting from "why" a customer needs a feature, not just how to build it, which guides his architecture and team leadership.
