Top SchoolDominic Surano is a director-level aerospace and systems engineering leader with 12 years of experience delivering complex UAS and defense systems across industry leaders like Anduril, Insitu, and General Atomics. Currently Director of Special Projects at Nordic Air Defence in Stockholm, he blends hands-on aeroelastic and dynamic analysis grounding with product and deployment leadership to move concepts into fielded capability. He has led cross-functional architecture and deployment teams, driving CONOPS-to-product transitions, SATCOM-enabled C4ISR features, and rapid fielding of mission-critical payloads. Known for meticulous systems thinking, Dominic pairs technical depth in structural and flight dynamics with pragmatic program execution and risk management. An aeronautical engineer and Emacs enthusiast who humorously calls himself a "slayer of giants," he brings an uncommon blend of lab-level testing experience and operational deployment savvy.
