Summary
👤
SeniorDonald Liu is an evangelist and systems engineer with over a decade of experience helping organizations across Asia-Pacific adopt and govern open source technologies. With a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and two decades of interest in open source, he blends deep Linux, compliance, security and licensing expertise with hands-on pre-sales, consulting and customer success skills. At the Linux Foundation, CNCF and OpenSSF he translates complex project and foundation mechanics into practical engagement, certification and commercial adoption strategies. Comfortable bridging technical and business audiences, he’s known for demystifying topics like OSS governance and conformance programs while shepherding community participation. An ability to navigate diverse cultures and translate compliance requirements into pragmatic engineering practices is a recurring, non-obvious strength.
